Ruffles and Lace are a wonderful addition to the shop! I'm so excited to offer these beautiful soft linen bloomers with a contrasting lace ruffled to give them a fun sailor girl look! I've admired the romantic look they add to your wardrobe, and was thrilled to create a pattern that I LOVE!
These are soft, flattering and add a lovely boho prairie flair to any long shirt/short dress or skirt, yet can be with with a short top too. I love layering clothing, and this medium weight linen is still so lightweight, it is suitable for cooler or warmer weather wear.
The Ruffles and Lace Bloomer has two rows of vintage lace and a 3" wide linen ruffle at the hem. Really a Romantic Boho Look! Though not pictured, they DO COME with a pocket, unless you request none. The bloomers are made with a soft and stretchy elastic waist across the back, and a sturdy cotton twill ribbon with buttonhole drawstring front closure at front, so they size very nicely. The linen I use is a medium weight 5 oz/2 yds softened high quality linen, except in White. I use a lovely heavy weight 7 oz/2 yds. With the high quality of linen, you still will not find these too warm or heavy in warmer weather.
Ruffles and Lace Bloomers
I pre~wash and damp/line dry all of my cottons and linens, one to two times, to further soften and facilitate shrinkage, so there will be less shrinking in the finished garment, for you, the customer. You do not need to dry clean linen, just wash on gentle cycle and damp dry and then lay flat.
